Randa Siniora
Randa Siniora "has been the General Director of Al-Haq since November 2001. She formerly served as the Head of Advocacy at the Women's Centre for Legal Aid and Counselling (WCLAC), making use of her specialized knowledge in the human rights of women. Prior to that, she worked with Al-Haq from 1987 to 1997, as a Legal Researcher, Public Relations Officer, and the Coordinator of the Women's Rights Project. Randa earned her LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex (UK), her Masters in Sociology from the American University in Cairo (Egypt), and her B.A. in Sociology from Birzeit University (Palestine). Randa serves on the Executive Committee of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network, and on the boards of the Palestinian Counselling Center (Palestine) and International Service for Human Rights (Switzerland). She is a member of the Palestinian Selection Committee for 1000 Women for the Nobel Prize Initiative, and was a member of the Palestinian Model Parliament Steering Committee from 1986-1987." [1]
