Background

The Refinación Paraguanáqa power project appears to have been abandoned, as there is no recent news coverage of the plant and no mention of it on sponsor company's PDVSA's website.[1] As of December 2014, the Refinación Paraguaná plant was still listed in Platts' World Electric Power Plants Database, but as of June 2015 it had been removed.[2]
