Background on Plant

NHDC Limited has signed MoU with Govt. of Madhya Pradesh on June 29, 2009 for the supercritical 1320 MW (2 x 660 MW) Reva Thermal Power Station in the Khandwa District of Madhya Pradesh. The terms of reference was extended in 2014.

However, as of November 2017 the project has yet to receive environmental clearance, and plans appear to be deferred or abandoned.
