Background
Unit 1 was 55 MW and began operating in 1969. Unit 2 is 165 MW and began operating in 1986. The plant is owned by Energie AG.[1]
Unit 1 was retired in 2010.[2] Unit 2 is planned for retirement in 2016.[3]
Unit 2 was retired in March 2016. Energie AG said they plan to build a gas plant at the site.[2]
