Robert D. Hormats is currently serving the U.S. State Department as Under Secretary for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs; Term of Appointment: 09/23/2009 to present US Dept. of State, Senior Officials
He was National Security Council advisor to Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and Brent Scowcroft, as well as serving as Assistant Secretary of State.
Hormats has been linked to Human Genome Science, Inc. He is also vice chair and managing director at Goldman Sachs and is believed to be a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
