Biographical Information

"In the Home Office he was involved with many aspects of the justice system, including the probation, police and prison services. Latterly he was the Department's Principal Finance Officer, and set up the Assets Recovery Agency (now part of the Serious and Organised Crime Agency). 

Since leaving the Home Office, Robert has retained his interest in justice and other social issues. As well as being a trustee of Sova, he is a Trustee of CLINKS (the umbrella body for voluntary and community sector organisations working with offenders) and of a local elderly people's charity in Elmbridge, where he lives. He has carried out consultancy studies for the Ministry of Justice, including a review of the Deaths in Custody Forum." [1]
