Biographical Information
"Robert is partner and the Chief Learning Officer at Ketchum. Robert has experience in all areas of learning and development, including adult development, leadership development, and creativity and innovation. He has applied this learning in a variety of roles including consulting, professional services, and executive management, and since April 2002, in the public relations industry. He worked for 12 years in marketing and merchandising with Wrangler Brand Apparel, and 14 years in executive development with the Center for Creative Leadership, among the world’s top 10 rated leadership development institutions. He was named partner by Ketchum in March 2005. Robert holds a 1999 MBA degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BA degree in political science from Wake Forest University.

"Before joining Ketchum, Burnside guided Corporate University Xchange's (CUX's) conferences, consulting, and research programs, such as Voice of the Marketplace: e-Learners Speak Out, a survey of more than 4100 e-learners in the UK, Canada, and the United States that identified four psychographic segments of e-learners (career builders, compliant learners, hobbyists, and students). He also presented to executive education deans of universities on the corporate learning market. His consulting work focused on helping corporate universities improve their measures for return on investment, and helping evaluate corporate university global online colleges.
