{{#Badges:CoalSwarm}} The Roundup Power Project was a sponsored by Bull Mountain Development Co., a New York-based developer. Three lawsuits against the project have been filed by the Montana Environmental Information Center[1], including one suit that invokes the constitutional right of Montanans to a clean and healthful environment.[2]
In response to a separate administrative appeal filed by MEIC, and a hearing examiner’s recommendation that the permit had expired, the company relinquished its permit in Sept. 2007.[3]
