Biographical Information
"Sarah Butler-Sloss is Executive Chair of the Ashden Awards, founded in 2001 to promote sustainable energy development. Trained as a zoologist, and with a lifelong interest in climate change, she had previously used her Sainsbury family inheritance to create the Ashden Trust, which supports environmental projects and charities tackling grassroots social problems." [1] Her father is John Davan Sainsbury.
