{{#badges: CoalVictoria|Navbar-Victoriaandcoal}}Scott Pearce is the registered lobbyist for the consultancy firm, CNC Project Management. The firm's sole client, as of February 2014, is the small Victorian brown coal firm, Ignite Energy Resources.[1]

Pearce's LinkedIn profile states that he formerly worked for Australian Corporate Property Services and in the "Office of Robert Dean", a former Liberal Party of Australia shadow treasurer.[2] Dean was shadow treasurer in the Victorian Opposition under Robert Doyle until he was sacked after failing to enrol to vote and therefore being ineligible to re-stand for his seat.[3].
