September 15 Coalition
The September 15 Coalition, initiated by A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism), will conduct a "mass civil disobedience action" on September 15, 2007, in Washington, D.C., "led by Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW)."[1]
"The September 15 March on Washington DC will be taking the anti-war movement to a new level," A.N.S.W.E.R. states on its website. "This will not be a typical demonstration. These will be Days of Decision as General David Petraeus issues the Pentagon and White House report on September 15 insisting that the war must drag on for years to come."[2]
"Iraq war veterans and their families, as well as active duty U.S. servicemembers, will form a large front contingent of the demonstration. Following a permitted march they will lead a large scale Die-In of thousands of people who will dramatically symbolize all those who have fallen in the Iraq war. This part of the demonstration will be a civil disobedience action and those participating will be prepared to risk arrest. Everyone should be very clear: you do not need to participate in the civil disobedience action, and everyone will have the option of participating only in the permitted march and rally.[3]

Move America Forward's September 3-15, 2007, "Fight for Victory Tour"
Move America Forward will conduct its "national, cross-country[6] 'Fight for Victory Tour'"[7] September 3-15, 2007, ending in Washington, D.C., where MAF will "have a rally with a collection of pro-troop groups" that includes Vets for Freedom (VFF), Gathering of Eagles (GOE), Military Order of the Purple Heart[8], Free Republic, Protest Warrior[9], Eagles UP!.[10], and Center for Vigilant Freedom (formerly known as The 910 Group).[11].
On July 29, 2007, Col. Harry G. Riley of Eagles Up! posted the following:[12]
- "This enemy of the freedom, greatness and compassion of America, that so many have sacrificed for, has it's tentacles in elements right here in America. They will be taking to the streets in Washington, D.C. on September 15, 2007 attempting to convince America to give up, give up our freedom, surrender, make a mockery of lawful expression, all in the name of a communist based, Islamic terrorist supported, radical leftist hating organization called A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism). ...
- "... a group of people and organizations with a warped sense of human dignity bent on destruction of America, your freedom, your childrens freedom. America as the founding fathers envisioned would be destroyed if they were in control or can convince gutless, cowardly leaders to abandon the fight for freedom.
- "Will you allow the ANSWER crowd to rule the streets of our Nations Capitol, most who have done nothing to preserve America, only milk it and have a desire to destroy?
- "All the pain, suffering, sacrifice, loss, and blood given by American patriots demands a force of hundreds of thousands, if not a million on the streets of Washington, D.C. on September 15 to completely overwhelm the message of hate."
