Sergei Kalamytsau
Sergei (Siarhei) Kalamytsau joined the International League for Human Rights "as a Central Asia Program Researcher in June 2005. He assists the CIS Program Manager with monitoring of human rights violations, advocating on behalf of independent journalists and human rights defenders in Central Asia, and organizing of League's events both in the United States and abroad. Mr. Kalamytsau was born in Russia, but grew up in Belarus, where he studied international relations at Belarus State University in Minsk and worked as Alumni Program Associate at the American Councils for Education and Research. In 2004 he received Bachelor's degree in Political Science from California State University, Fresno. Mr. Kalamytsau speaks fluent Russian, Belarusian, English, Italian and proficient German, Polish, and Ukrainian." [1]
