Background on Plant
The eight existing coal-fired units of Hanzhuang-1 power station, totaling 102 MW, have been retired. The plant is owned by Shandong Weishan Lake Mining Group.[1]
Description of Expansion
Shandong Weishan is planning to build the two-unit coal-fired Hanzhuang-2 power station, with a total planned capacity of 1,200 MW.[2]
