Background
Shidongkou-1 is a 4 x 325 MW plant commissioned from 1988 to 1990. Shidongkou-2 is a 2 x 600 MW and 2 x 660 MW plant commissioned from 1992 to 2009. They are majority-owned by China Huaneng.[1]
CCS
Part of one Shidongkou-2 600 MW reactor has carbon capture and storage capabilities to capture 0.1 Million tonnes a year (approximately 4% of a single unit's output).[2]
