Shiv Khemka
"Mr. Shiv Khemka has more than 20 years of investment and business experience, principally focused on Russia and India. After having headed up the family's Latin American activities in the 1980s, Shiv Khemka began leading SUN's investment and entrepreneurial activities in Russia and Ukraine in 1990, building a significant example of successful foreign direct and private equity investing into Russia, SUN InterBrew. He also established and led one of the first private equity funds in Russia, SUN Capital Partners.
"Shiv Khemka was elected a “Global Leader for Tomorrow” at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 1997, and was invited to join the Forum's “Foreign Business Leaders’ Council” for Russia. Shiv Khemka serves on the EAME board of The Wharton School and on the Board of Governors of The Lauder Institute, as well as on the Advisory Board of the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Shiv Khemka also participates in the work of the Council of the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo”, where he is one of the founders and partners. He is a member of the board of Eurasia Group in New York, the International Advisory Council at the International Crisis Group, and the Young President's Organisation. Shiv Khemka is Chairman of the Russia Country Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry. In November 2006, Shiv Khemka was awarded the Wharton India Alumni Award.
"Educated at Eton College, Shiv Khemka received a BA from Brown University, an MBA with distinction from The Wharton School and Master's in International Studies from The Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania." [1]
