Background on Project

Chongqing Huineng Industrial has proposed to construct a 300 MW supercritical coal plant with three 50 MW back-pressured units in Dayan Village, Shuijiang Town. It is a CHP power plant that will supply electricity to an industrial park and surrounding factories. The which is typical for CHP[1]

The plant was permitted in June 2016, and construction on unit 1 began in October 2016.[2] Unit 1 is planned for operation in May 2019,[3] and was commissioned in October 2019.[4] The three 50 MW back-pressure units appear to be shelved.
