Shuijiang Zutuan power station (南川工业园区水江组团热电联产) is a 350-megawatt (MW) coal-fired co-generation power plant in Chongqing DC Municipality, China.

Background on Project

Chongqing Huineng Industrial has proposed to construct a 300 MW supercritical coal plant with three 50 MW back-pressured units in Dayan Village, Shuijiang Town. It is a CHP power plant that will supply electricity to an industrial park and surrounding factories. The which is typical for CHP

The plant was permitted in June 2016, and construction on unit 1 began in October 2016. Unit 1 is planned for operation in May 2019, and was commissioned in October 2019. The three 50 MW back-pressure units appear to be shelved.
