Since Sliced Bread "was a national call for fresh, common sense ideas. A call for ideas that will strengthen our economy and improve the day-to-day lives of working men and women and their families. And the nation answered this call! People from all walks of life submitted and voted on over 22,000 ideas.
"The contest is over, but our work has just begun. Our ideas look nice on the website, but they'll look even nicer when we can see them taking shape in communities across America." [1]
"Since Sliced Bread is sponsored by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) to ensure that hard work is valued and rewarded in this country." [2]
