SourceWatch:Articles that need fixing
<Portal:Community Portal/Help out
This page contains a list of things you can do to help improve SourceWatch and its projects. There are several different kinds of things to do: |
|
These are articles that need fixing on SourceWatch. Fixes needed can include copy editing, sources needed, erroneous information or anything else. Feel free to add an article to the list or, better yet, fix one of the articles and then take it off the list (make sure to add a note to the articles discussion page explaining what you did)! When adding an article that needs to be fixed, make sure to explain what specifically is needed. If the article is under a section heading that has a link, that link goes to a portal where the to-do item is likely also listed under "things you can do." Help keep track of which articles are updated by removing it from that list, too.

SourceWatch
- I just went through all of the redirects listed at Special:DoubleRedirects, which after some effort, is now down to below fifty items, and is quite capable of going to zero with a bit more attention, as described below.
- There is a related set of articles that have been renamed repeatedly, which I nominated to delete the first one of each of the double redirects. (Again, here, no article is pointing to the initial redirect.) Deleting these too would shorten the redirects by one, and make it easier to tell if the next redirect is used by another article, or not.
- Example:
Thanks Redtexture, I've gone back through those remaining on the list and got it down to just over 30 with the remaining ones related to Congresspedia. --Bob Burton 19:43, 30 July 2007 (EDT)
- The article on the Israeli political party Likud looks like it was imported from Wikipedia and needs referencing. I have relocated the unreferenced material to the talk page and reduced the article to a stub for the moment.--Bob Burton 14:55, 7 December 2007 (EST)
- The Americans for Balanced Energy Choices article needs better referencing. --Bob Burton 14:26, 10 December 2007 (EST)
How Congress works articles
- United States Constitution: Amendments - There seems to be some confusion here as to amendments and articles. Also, the all-caps text at the top is weird.
