The proposed railway is also occasionally referred to the the Southern Missing Link.[1]
ABARE lists the $1 billion project as being proposed by a consortium of Queensland Rail, ATEC and Xstrata Coal. ABARE states that the project would have a capacity of 42 million tonnes per annum.[2]
