Stephen W. Fillo
Stephen W. Fillo "served as a Chairman of the Bulgarian American Enterprise Fund from 1993 – 2008 and is currently Chairman Emeritus and Director. Previously a Partner of Warburg, Pincus, Mr. Fillo was a member of its Operating Committee and managed a group of Partners, Officers and other professionals who invested approximately $300 million in twenty companies.
"Mr. Fillo served as a Director of the John & Mary R. Markle Foundation, Inc., a $150 million foundation concentrating in the application of information technology to various educational, social, and medical issues and has served on the Development and Investment Committees as a Cornell Trustee for Cornell University. In addition, Mr. Fillo was a Trustee of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra and was a member of its Executive Committee. Mr. Fillo received his B.S. from Cornell University and M.B.A. with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School where he was a George F. Baker Scholar." [1]
