Steve Horton

"Steve Horton has 35 years experience working in the energy industry around the world, including 27 years with BP plc where he held several executive roles including worldwide Director of Drilling. He has lived and worked in the UK, Brazil, Texas, South Korea, China, Papua New Guinea, Alaska and Venezuela. Steve managed BPs drilling operations in China in 1985 and 1986.

"Since 2004, Steve has worked in executive and non executive director roles in private equity funded projects, focussing on drilling and production services and energy companies. He co-founded Silverstone Energy Limited in 2005, a North Sea focused exploration and production company, which grew from start-up through operated exploration and development to production within four years. Steve is managing director of NewDevCo Ltd and is the independent non executive director on the board of AIM listed Leni Gas and Oil plc. "
