Background
The power station consists of two supercritical coal-burning units, units 3-4. They are 380 MW each, and were commissioned in 1984 to 1985. Unit 1 (150 MW) and Unit 2 (272 MW) have been retired.[1]
The plant is being converted to burn wood pellets, expected to be completed in summer 2016.[2]
