In August 2003 Susan Segal became President and CEO of the Americas Society and the Council of the Americas.

"Susan Segal has worked in both the private sector and Latin America for over 25 years, most recently as founding partner of her own advisory and investment group focused primarily in Latin America and the Hispanic US. Previously, Susan was a Partner and the Latin American Group Head at JPMorgan Partners/Chase Capital Partners. Prior to that she was a Senior Managing Director focused on Emerging Markets Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Chemical/Chase Banks. Susan was also actively involved in the Sovereign Debt Restructurings and chaired the Chilean Advisory Committee." [1]
