Tanjung Kidurong power station

Part of the Global Gas Plant Tracker, a Global Energy Monitor and Center for Media and Democracy project.

Tanjung Kidurong power station is a 842-megawatt (MW) gas-fired power plant, currently under construction in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia.

Block 1 of the project launched in November 2016 and is due for completion in mid-2020. Block 2 launched in August 2018 and is set for completion in early 2021.

Location

The below satellite image shows the location of the power station, which will be located at the existing Tanjung Kidurong Power Station in Jalan Tanjung Kidurong, Sarawak, Malaysia.
