Tarek Ibrahim
Tarek Ibrahim is the full-time Director of Research and Reporting for the Arab Association for Human Rights.
"Tarek Ibrahim was recruited as the R+R Director following an intensive interview and selection procedure. He completed a week of training with B' tselem covering field research and reporting techniques in September 2003 and began work in the office in October. He is in charge of supervising R+R project assistants, conducting field and office research, writing reports, distributing reports, and publicizing reports through media contacts. As R+R Director, Ibrahim is also responsible for supervising press releases, the media monitoring archive, and the Weekly Press Review.
"Ibrahim graduated from Haifa University's law program in 2000 where he participated in an assistant training seminar through the faculty of law. During this program, Ibrahim assisted a lawyer at the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI). He also worked as a lawyer for a year at Hamoked in Jerusalem and interned at Adalah in Shefa'amer. He is keen to build a career in human rights." [1]
