Teach Peace Foundation
Teach Peace Foundation
"Dave Dionisi, Mary Wind and approximately 50 other people from many faiths and backgrounds came together to do something constructive to end the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The early focus was influenced by Franklin Roosevelt's Four Freedoms speech in 1941 which explained how to achieve freedom from war. Our vision builds on this speech for a world free from war made possible by freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom from want, and freedom from fear through education. While we are critical of many of FDR's decisions and involvement in secret societies, the Four Freedoms speech did influence us to create what is now the Teach Peace Foundation." [1]
