Thomas E. Everhart

Thomas E. Everhart has been President Emeritus of Caltech since 1997.

He currently sits on the board of Raytheon Company, Saint-Gobain Corporation, and the Kavli Foundation. Professor Everhart was President of Caltech from 1987 to 1997. He was chancellor of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1984 to 1987. He was dean of the College of Engineering at Cornell University from 1979 to 1984. Prior to that he served as Chair of the Electrical Engineering department at the University of California at Berkeley.

Thomas Everhart is well known for his contributions to electron beam lithography.
