Background on Plant

Tianchi Changji Cogen power station is a 2 x 350 supercritical coal plant in Changji Hui AP, Xinjiang province. It was permitted in September 2014,[1] and construction began in 2015. Operation is planned for 2017.[2]

Unit 1 began operating in March 2017.[3] Commissioning of unit 2 began in June 2017.[4]
