"Professor Wen is a senior economist in rural development in China . His rural reconstruction theory has been very influential in both the academic and policy world in China. Before he joined the faculty of Renmin University of China, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the China Reform Magazine, the Deputy-Secretariat of China Reform Society and the Deputy-Secretariat of China Macroeconomics Research Foundation. He is also the Chief-Economist of China Macroeconomics Network."
