Tobacco consumer letters

They provide insight into the relationship between people and cigarette companies. These letters generally contain questions, comments or complaints about tobacco products, advertising or other corporate behaviors. Many contain extraordinarily sad tales.
Consumer letters can be found by going to the Legacy Tobacco Documents Library and searching on the phrase "Consumer letter". You can also combine that phrase with other words. For more targeted and interesting searches, try combining the phrase "consumer letter" with words like "love," "hate," "sick," "died," "bugs," "worms," "dead," "death," etc.)
