A biographical note states that Bourne:[1]
- "is a qualified Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineer with more than 20 years' experience in the development of chemical plants and start-up businesses. He has been a senior manager for WMC Resources, Thiess Pty. Ltd. and Multiplex Engineering Pty Ltd. Trevor has considerable experience in strategic management and development, and the coordination of major industrial construction projects and businesses. He has developed numerous businesses, including Multiplex Engineering Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Multiplex Construction Group and Global Ethanol, a US-based clean renewable fuels business. Trevor came to Exergen from his role as CEO of US-based Recovery Technology Solutions, a start-up company focused on the recycling of asphalt shingles into their component parts for reuse in the shingle manufacturing and asphalt pavement industry. He has a Bachelor of Engineering from RMIT University, Melbourne Australia."
Theiss was a founding shareholder in Exergen.[2]
