The UK Aid Network (UKAN) "was formed in November 2004 to co-ordinate policy and lobbying efforts in calling for more and better aid in 2005, as part of MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY. Throughout 2005 it pooled resources, expertise and strategic thinking on advocating and lobbying for an increase in aid and for improvements in the quality and effectiveness of aid for fighting poverty." They are a member of the British Overseas NGOs for Development. [2]
