UK Gambling Bill 2004-2005

A Gambling Bill was introduced into the UK Parliament on October 18 2004. It aims to deregulate the gaming industry in the UK, and if enacted will allow the construction of a number of 'mega-casinos' in British city centres [1]
The Bill received Royal Assent on 7 April 2005, and became the Gambling Act[2]
