Vafa Vahid
Vafa Vahid is currently CFO of Operations and Technology at Fannie Mae[1]. Prior to this, Mr Vahid was Director of the Citigroup Institutional Client Group, as "Director in Institutional Client Group (ICG) Operations and Technology Organization", with responsibilities for "Financial Management of Global Transformation Programs across Operations organization (2008 - 2010)", as well as "Finance Director for Capital Markets Operations and Capital Markets Finance organizations (2004-2008)"[2]. Between 1996 and 2004, he was Senior Vice President of Citigroup Private Bank, where he fulfilled numerous roles including "CFO Global Operations & Technology (2002-2004) Head of Planning & Analysis, Global Investment Products (2001-2002)Controller, Global Technology Division (1999-2001) Controller, Global Marketing Division (1996-1999)"[3]. Between 1994 and 1996, he was Senior Business Analyst with National Westminster Bank/Fleet Bank,[4]. Mr Vahid is a member of the Baha'i Faith, and member of the Baha'i Professionals Group.[5]
