"With over 30 years' experience of working within the structured environment of ‘big business’, her secondment at the TREES Group has been a real ‘eye-opener’ to the social enterprise way of working – creating sustainable businesses that reinvest profits into social goals.

"Viv came to TREES as part of BT’s Charitable External Secondment programme, where her skill-set and availability were matched with the opportunity at TREES. Viv has helped to develop and launch Action Clean, a social enterprise to reduce re-offending and homelessness by providing training and employment opportunities to ex-offenders. Action Clean is an innovative collaboration between Action Homeless Leicester, HMYOI Glen Parva, the TREES Group and Apex Works, and delivers cleaning services to customers throughout the East Midlands."
