Walter Wurfel "is Vice-President of WXGM Inc., a radio broadcasting firm. From 1985 to 1997, he was senior vice president for public affairs and communications at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). Prior to his work at NAB, he was vice president of corporate communications for the Gannett Company and president of Ruder Finn, Washington. From 1977 to 1979, Wurfel served in the Carter White House as deputy press secretary to the president. His broad media experience includes stints as a newspaper reporter, editor and foreign correspondent, as well as television anchor and broadcasting executive. He is a graduate of Stanford University and the Columbia University School of Journalism." [1]
