Background on Plant

Weihe-2 power station is a 4 x 300 MW coal plant in Zhengyang Town. It was commissioned from 1991 to 1996, and is owned by Shaanxi Energy Group and China Huaneng. Two 50 MW units were commissioned in 1970-1 and retired in 2007, also known as units 1-2 of Datang Weihe power station.[1][2]
