William L. Bell Jr. held the titles of vice president, general counsel, and secretary at the Center for Naval Analyses (later known as The CNA Corporation, or CNAC) for about 18 years, beginning in 1983. Although his biographical sketch for The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies indicates that he is still CNAC's vice president, general counsel, and secretary, he relinquished his vice presidency and role as secretary a few years ago, and CNAC's website now lists Sherri W. Goodman as general counsel [1].
