Wisconsinopengov.org
{{#badges:stub}} WisconsinOpenGov.org is a database web site created by the MacIver Institute and MacIver News Service nominally to help foster transparency in Wisconsin state government. The site purports to contain data on the salaries of Wisconsin's public workers, including K-12 teachers. The web site says "We ... have not manipulated or extrapolated the data in any way," and promises to allow visitors to search the Wisconsin Public Employees Payroll database to find out the annual salaries of state employees. A search on the name "Walker" in Wisconsin state government, however, fails to turn up any salary information on Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker, but does show salary information for many teachers named "Walker."
