The World Childhood Foundation was founded in 1999 by H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden. "Childhood is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the most vulnerable children worldwide, especially those who are victims of sexual abuse and exploitation.
- "Childhood supports 90 programs in 15 countries. Prevention, intervention and education are hallmarks of these programs, which are found in urban, sub-urban and rural areas over the world." [1]
