Background on Plant
In 2011 Shaanxi Provincial Investment Group proposed the power station, which would consist of four units of 350 MW each.[1]
In March 2016 the first two units completed a pre-feasibility report.[2][3]
After no discussion of the project since March 2016, units 1-2 were named in a July 2018 list of planned projects in Shaanxi, after Shaanxi was removed from a central government list of "red light" areas that should restrict new coal plant development.[4]
However, as of November 2019 there has been no development on the project, and it appears to be shelved.
