Background on Plant

Units 1 and 2 of the Xingyi power station were permitted by NDRC in September 2009, and brought online in 2011.[1][2]

Description of Expansion

Sponsor Guizhou Xingyi Electric Power Development Co, a subsidiary of Guizhou Industrial Investment Group,[3] had listed an additional units 3 and 4, planned for operation in 2017.[4]

However, there have been no developments on these units, and they don't appear to have ever been a concrete plan.
