Background on Project
Xishui power station is a 4 x 135MW coal-fired power plant. Construction started in 2000 and was completed in 2001 and 2002. It was originally owned by CPI.[1] It is part of the project "Sending Electricity from West to East". The electricity it generates supplies Guangdong Province.[2]
Ownership
In July 2015, China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) and State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) merged to become State Power Investment Corporation (国家电力投资集团), one of the five largest state-owned electricity producers in the People's Republic of China.[3]
