On September 26th, 2012, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has ratified the development of Yangcun Coal Mine with a total production of 5Mt/year.[1]

The production capacity of Yangcun Coal Mine was withdrawn in December 2018 due to poor mining conditions and uneconomical mining technology.[2]
