Background on Plant

Yangshan Yueyang power station was a three-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 185 MW. [1] The plant was completed between 1991 and 2005, and is owned by Guangdong Yudean Group.[2]

Units 1 and 2 were retired in 2008. Unit 3 was retired in 2015.[3]
