Background on Plant
Yangzhou-2 power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 2,460 MW in Jiangsu Province. The first two units were built in 1998; the second two in 2006 and 2007.[1][2]
Description of Expansion
A third phase of 2 x 1000 MW has been proposed.[3]
However, with no developments since October 2014, the project appears to be shelved.
