Background on Plant

Yima power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 310 MW. The plant was completed between 2009 and 2010, and is owned by Yima Mine Group.[1]

Due to the plant not meeting environmental standards, it went offline in 2013. Yima Mine Group is looking for buyers to take over.[2]
