Yima power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 310 MW. The plant was completed between 2009 and 2010, and is owned by Yima Mine Group.

Due to the plant not meeting environmental standards, it went offline in 2013. Yima Mine Group is looking for buyers to take over.
