Yubileynaya coal mine

The mine is part of a mining-and-washing complex, including the Shchedrukhinskaya washplant and TransAvto, TopProm's transport company.[1]

Coal Mine Background
Mining at Yubileynaya started in 1966 as Baydayevskaya-Severnaya No.1.[2] In 2007, 38 miners died in the mine following an explosion.[3] From 2010 to 2013 the mine was mothballed.[1] In February 2013 the Yubileynaya mine was sold to TopProm by EVRAZ Group.[4] In 2013 it was significantly upgraded. In 2016 regular coal output was restarted.[1]
