Zhangjiakou Power Station (大唐国际张家口发电厂, also known as Zhangjiakou Shalingzi power station 张家口沙岭子电厂) is a 2,560-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Hebei Province, China.

It is a separate power station from the Zhangjiakou ZTP power station.

Background

The eight-unit coal plant has a total capacity of 2,560 MW and was built from 1991-2011. The plant is owned by China Datang. It is the main power plant supplying electricity to Beijing. In 2013 and 2015, four of its eight units were upgraded to cogeneration units, started suppling heat in winter to the city of Zhangjiakou.
