Background on Project

According to a report by World Resources Institute, Sichuan Beineng is currently planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 600 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.[1]

However, there appear to be no other public information sources of the proposed power station. Sichuan Beineng is mainly a hydropower company,[2] and it is unlikely they are the sponsor of the plant.
